Welcome to Botanical Insights , a blog that aims to provide you with all the tips and tricks you need to keep your houseplants thriving, as well as general information about a variety of plants. My name is Stacy, and I'm excited to share my passion for indoor gardening with you. I'm a 27-year-old living in Holland, Michigan with roughly 60 houseplants (and counting!). In addition to indoor gardening, I enjoy outdoor gardening, hiking, woodworking, and traveling. I've been taking care of houseplants for over 5 years, starting with just a few plants in my small one-bedroom apartment and eventually expanding to fill every room in my house. As a product engineer, I love the precision and attention to detail required for both my job and my hobby.
